 Agneepath Recruitment Scheme: The process of recruitment has started under the Agneepath Recruitment 2024 in the Indian Army. Under this scheme, recruitment will be done for four years in the Indian forces. Here the selected candidates will be given training. Also, after four years, 25 percent will be inducted into the full-time army, while 75 percent of the Agniveers will be decommissioned by giving a package.

Agneepath Recruitment 2024: The process of recruitment has started under the biggest ever reform Agneepath scheme for recruitment in the Indian Army. Rallies for recruitment in the Indian Army were started in Punjab and Karnataka on 10 August 2024 and are continuing in Haryana from 12 August. On June 14, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh announced a new scheme Agneepath for army recruitment, after which it was opposed in many states of the country. The opposition also created a lot of ruckus regarding the Agneepath scheme. But despite this uproar, the process of recruitment under the Agneepath scheme has been started as per the plan.

Recruitment has already started for entry into the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy. Rallies for the Indian Army have started from Punjab and Karnataka as well as in 4 districts of Haryana, Hisar, Sirsa, Jind, and Fatehabad rallies have started from 12th August which will continue till 26th August. Those recruited under Agneepath Scheme will be known as Agniveer.

 These Agniveers will serve in the Indian Army for four years after recruitment and after that 25% of them will be inducted into the full-time army, while 75% of Agniveers will be decommissioned by giving a package. Applicants are being tested to become Agniveer under the Agneepath scheme.

The recruitment of Agniveers is done in three phases. First medical test, second physical test, and third written test. In this recruitment rally for the Army, first of all, those documents are being verified which have been uploaded by the applicant while filling the online form. Once the verification is completed, then the candidates go through the medical test and those who pass the medical test are subjected to a physical test, which consists of tests like running 2 km, sit-ups, push-ups, climbing the wall and Those who pass it will have a written test.

 NCC cadets will get extra marks in the written exam If a candidate has a sports certificate, then he will also get separate bonus marks in the written examination. The special thing is that even though the scheme is new, there has been no change in the criteria set for recruitment in the Indian Army. Children of ex-servicemen i.e. ex-servicemen and Veer Naris will get some relaxation in physical fitness. Veer Naris will also get some relaxation in physical fitness.

First Recruitment Rally in August

The Indian Army has a total of 13 Zonal Recruiting Offices across the country. Under these, there are a total of 75 Army Recruiting Offices (AROs) across the country. The first recruitment rally started in August, and a total of 83 recruitment rallies are being organized across the country. Agniveers are being recruited in six different categories in the Army. From July, different recruitment offices of the army have released the date of recruitment rallies for the recruitment.

Six different categories in which Agniveers are being recruited are
General Duty
Technical
Technical (Aviation, Ammunition-Examiner)
Clerk, Storekeeper-Technical
Tradesman (10th pass)
Tradesman (8th pass)

According to the notification issued by the Army, all Agniveers had to register online, after which the admit card was issued online to all. Recruitment rallies are being organized only with this admit card, if any candidate reaches the recruitment rally with a fake admit card, then he will be handed over to the police.
