Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Details:

Indian coast guard invites online Applications from unmarried male Indian nationals possessing educational qualifications and age, as mentioned below, for recruitment to the post of Yantrik in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union.

Post Name: Yantrik

Age Limit for Yantrik posts: To apply for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik post candidate age should be between 18 Years and 22 years. Upper age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC category candidates.

Educational Qualification: To apply for Indian Coast Guard Yantrik post candidates should possess three years Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent branch recognised / Approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) with 60% in aggregate.

Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates will be selected for Yantrik post at indiancoastguard on the basis of Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), interview and Medical Examination.

Written Test: It will be objective type. The questions paper will contain questions from their respective branch (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Telecommunication) and will also include some questions of General Knowledge,Reasoning Aptitude & English.

The candidates who qualify written tests will undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Interview and Medical Examination. The testing procedure will take 1-2 days.

Physical Fitness Test: It will be conducted for all candidates who pass the written test. Qualifying PFT as per the standards given below is compulsory. The PFT will consist as under:-
• 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes.
• 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak).
• 10 Push ups.

The All India select list of candidates will be displayed in the Indian Coast Guard Website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in in the month of January 2022.
