GATE 2024 Notification and Date Schedule:  Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering – The GATE 2024 exam schedule has been released by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. IIT Kanpur is all set to conduct the GATE 2024 exam on 4th February, 5th February, 11th February, and 12th February. The registration process for GATE 2024 will start on August 30.

GATE 2024: Eligibility Criteria

The notification reads, ‘The exam will test a comprehensive understanding of several graduate subjects in engineering, science, humanities, and social sciences. A candidate who is currently studying in the third or higher years of any Graduation degree program. Must have completed any Govt. Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts.’

GATE 2024 will be conducted in 29 subject areas in Computer Based Test (CBT) format. The exam will be conducted in many cities in India. It will be held in Bangladesh, Singapore, Nepal, and the United Arab Emirates, along with cities in other countries.

What is GATE Exam?

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE is a national-level exam that is conducted to test the comprehensive understanding of students of various graduate disciplines including Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture/ Science/ Commerce/ Arts.

GATE 2024 is being conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. The exam is conducted by IISc Bangalore and seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee) by the National Coordination Board – GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MOE). , will be done by the Government of India (Government of India).
