The officials of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) have recently published a Notification for Junior Assistant Typist (JAT) vacancies. The responsibility of organizing the recruitment process has been given to the National Testing Agency (NTA). IGNOU Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- To apply for the post of Junior Assistant Typist (JAT) in IGNOU, the candidate must have passed 12th class from a recognized board.
- Typing-English Typing at the speed of 40 w.p.m. and Hindi Typing at the speed of 35 w.p.m.
Age Limit
- 18 to 27 years.
- In the maximum age limit, SC and ST will get 5 years and OBC will get 3 years of relaxation.
Application fee
- General and OBC – Rs 1000
- SC, ST and women’s category – Rs 600
- Divyang – no fee
IGNOU Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
- Computer-Based Written Examination and Typing Test.
- Candidates who qualify for the written test will be called for typing test.
- 150 questions of 150 marks will be asked in the written test.
- In this, 30-30 questions will be asked from General Awareness, Reasoning and General Intelligence, Mathematical Ability, Hindi / English Language, and Computer Knowledge.
