KALIA Yojana List 2022: In the year 2018, the Chief Minister of Odisha launched the Kalia Yojana to help the landless farmers of the Odisha state. KALIA Yojana List 2022

KALIA Yojana List 2022 was created to provide financial assistance to the landless farmers of Odisha. The Government allotted around Rs 5115 crore to implement this scheme in Odisha state. Now, the Odisha Government has allotted Rs 3195 crore for the year 2022. Till now more than 4300000 farmers have benefited from this scheme. In the year 2022, Rupees 10,000 will be provided to all of the beneficiaries of this scheme.
Financial assistance of Rs.25,000/- per farm family over five seasons will be provided to small and marginal farmers. This financial assistance will be helpful for the farmers so that they can purchase inputs like seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides and use assistance towards labour and other investments. Rs.12,500/-will be provided to each landless Agricultural Household for Agricultural allied activities. These activities include small goat rearing units, mini-layer units, duckery units, fishery kits for fisherman, mushroom cultivation and bee-keeping, etc.

Features of Odisha KALIA Yojana 2022

  • The Kalia scheme was launched by the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik. 
  • The landless farmers of the Odisha state have benefited from this scheme.
  • The State Government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 5000 as an incentive to farmers for purchasing inputs like seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides under this scheme.
  • Rupees 1 lakh per family per year will be provided to the beneficiaries under this scheme.
  • The farmers will also be provided information about the development of cottage industries and earning income from their medium under this scheme.

  • Life insurance of up to Rupees 200000 at a nominal rate of rupees 30 is also a benefit in this scheme.
  • The farmers must be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 50 years to be the beneficiaries of this scheme.
