Police Recruitment 2023 Apply Online SI and Constable Posts 2023
The announcement has been made regarding the bumper police recruitment in the State Police Department. Here in the beginning of next year 2023 itself, more than 1800 posts of police constable and about 300 posts of SI are to be recruited. That is, there is a plan to recruit 2100 police posts in total. It has been decided in the state that the departmental posts which were vacant inside Punjab will be started to be filled so that the posts which were lying vacant for 5 to 6 years are filled in 2023. This decision has been taken in the cabinet meeting held on 12 December.
Giving information in this regard on behalf of State Government Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, who was a part of the meeting, it has been said that the recruitment process for SI and Constable posts in the State Police Department will be continued every year.

Punjab PoliceConstable and SI Recruitment (Notification, Application and Selection): Announcing this recruitment on behalf of the Punjab Finance Minister, it was said, ‘It has been decided by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the cabinet that the recruitment of youth in the Punjab Police will be done every year. According to this scheme, the application and selection process will be completed within the year 2023 by issuing notifications for the posts of 300 sub-inspectors ie SI along with 1800 constables from the State Police Department.
When will the Physical Test be held: The time estimate has also been shared by the Minister of the State Government for conducting the important Physical Efficiency Test i.e. PGT for this recruitment. It is likely to be organized within the month of September in the next year 2023.
