Educational Qualification

Applicants must meet the following qualifications by the deadline for submitting an online application.

• Review Officer (Account) & Assistant Review Officer (Account) – UP Secretariat
  • Bachelor of Commerce with Accountancy from an Indian university established by law, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the government
  • “O” Level certificate in computer application from a government-approved institute.
  • Understanding of Hindi written in Devnagari Script.
• Review Officer (Hindi) – UP Secretariat:
  • Bachelor’s degree with Hindi or Sanskrit literature as one of the subjects from an Indian university established by law, or a qualification recognized by the government as equivalent.
• Review Officer (Urdu) – UP Secretariat:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a University established by law in India with Arabic Literature, Persian Literature, or Urdu Literature as one of the subjects, or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.
• Assistant Review Officer (Account) – UP Public Service Commission:
  • Graduate degree in commerce with accounting from an Indian university recognized by law.
• Assistant Review Officer – UP Secretariat/ Board of Revenue, UP/ Office of Chief Election Officer, UP:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an Indian university or a qualification recognised by the government as equivalent.
• DOEACC Society “O” Level Certificate or its equivalent qualification
  • In Hindi typewriting, a minimum speed of 25 (twenty-five) words per minute is required. (Also, a applicant who is familiar with English typewriting will be given preference.)
• Assistant Review Officer – UP Public Service Commission:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an Indian university established by law, or a qualification recognised by the government as equivalent.
